Hayate is having a trouble to understand of "Secret Technique" made by his dad. But Hayabusa, Kasumi, Ayane, Momiji, & Zack does, due to them are sometimes being otaku (Zack is more on that state, & Hayabusa is more of a traditional and holy weapon otaku)
It is actually part of a air combo based 2D fighting game like most of Arc System Works and Vs. Capcom (mostly UMvC3 & TvC) games
